Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.

This past weekend, we held our first Campus/Teen Retreat in the awesome Redwood Forests of Santa Cruz! The theme was A Cord Of Three Strands and so we focused on strength through unity – with God and each other! Aside from learning unity by trying to find a campground in the middle of nowhere, we had an incredibly fun time of cooking, laughing and a ton of inspiration through lessons, awesome d-groups and prayer walks in the Redwoods!

To top it all off, we ended the retreat by going to a watering hole and seeing an amazing student from SFSU, Roberto, make the decision to be united with God and His church when he was BAPTIZED! Right after the baptism Roberto, myself and some of the other guys celebrated by rope swinging into the same water spring with the Campus and Teens cheering us on! Keep us in your prayers!

At his baptism, Roberto joins the SFB Band of Brothers!
