Our amazing new sister, Celeste, was baptized into the Berkeley singles ministry on July 20th 2015! Ironically, though Celeste does not live in San Francisco, she was reached out to while hanging out at Stonestown Mall by Ingrid and Adina of the SF State campus ministry. Celeste was very interested in studying the bible because although she was raised in a religious home, she never read or studied the bible for herself. She says that she was inspired to learn about the kingdom of God and how his people are meant to put Him above everything in their lives, teachings that she had never heard before. Learning to trust God in her life has been both a challenge and a miracle, but Celeste says that she is excited about the plans he has in store for her.
